In an effort to attract more tourists from New Zealand, Tourism Fiji will launch their extensive technical tourism campaign today which will be done in New Zealand.

Chairman Patrick Wong said they have set aside $300,000 which will be used for advertisements in NZ television and newspapers in New Zealand.

He adds one of the hurdles they face with attracting tourists from NZ, is NZ's domestic tourist market whereby the NZ government is encouraging their people to holiday domestically.

Wong said they will be working with all tourism stakeholders to ensure the campaign is successful.
