The Digicel Fiji 7s team will have to go through a tougher road in the Australia 7s as the team is expected to meet either South Africa or Samoa in the quarter-final stages.

Fiji just managed to edge South Africa in the Cup quarter-finals of the Hong Kong 7s while Samoa played England in the semi-finals.

Barring any upsets Fiji is expected to meet England in the cup semi-finals.

But the competition will be stiff from the pool matches with Australia, Tonga and ever improving USA standing in Fiji's way.

Australia will pose the biggest threat as the team will play in front of their home crowd and a win against Fiji will set them an easy quarter-final.

The Fiji 7s team arrives in Adelaide this morning and will have training runs starting this afternoon.

Fiji's opening pool game is against USA at 2.51pm on Saturday.
