For the first time in the history of the Coke Light Games, the torch relay will this year be travelling to Vanua Levu.

The torch left the Coca Cola premises at Laucala Beach this morning and students from Nasinu Muslim College had the honor of being the first school to carry the torch.

From Coca Cola Amatil, the torch will travel to Natovi and then to Bua down to Savusavu and finally to Labasa.

From Labasa, the torch will come back to Viti Levu and will travel to Suva through the Queens Highway, then back to Laucala Beach before being taken to the stadium - for the cauldron to be lit opening this year's competition.

A total of 56 schools will be taking part in the torch relay and Fiji Secondary Schools Association Secretary Vuli Waqa has promised that the 2008 games will be bigger and better.

The Coke Light Games will be held on the 25-26 of this month.
