Most of the top provincial teams will miss their key players in the opening round of the Digicel Cup this weekend.

Nadroga is the most affected team with most of their players from last season touring with the Fiji Warriors team or are in camp with the Fiji Barbarians team.

The opening round for Nadroga is against defending champion Naitasiri who will be without players like Nasoni Roko, Timoci Vakadranu, Wise Vatuvoka and Apisalome Ratuniyarawa.

Suva will also miss the services of Waqabaca Kotobalavu, Leone Nakarawa, Nikola Matawalu, Jerry Burotu and Samu Bola this weekend.

Suva will have a number of new players against Tavua when they play at the Suva Grammar School grounds on Saturday at 3pm.

In the opening Digicel Cup game on Friday, Naitasiri host Nadroga at 6pm at Ratu Cakobau Park.
