It will be a three way race in this weekend’s Fiji Water Centennial Oceania 7s as Fiji, Samoa and Australia will try to lay a good platform before the World Series kicks off next week.

For new Fiji sevens coach Ben Ryan he knows the game’s biggest fans will certainly cheer for them today.

It’s just his third day in the country and Ryan is already passionate about his new job especially when dealing with the children.

After visiting the children’s ward at the CWM hospital yesterday Ryan said he hopes they will give the children a reason to smile this weekend.

But Samoan 7s team coach Viliamu Punivalu said their two months of preparation will be put to the test and fans should expect a different ball game altogether.

Meanwhile, Australian coach Michael O’Connor said it will be good if they meet Fiji and Samoa this weekend.

The first game of the Fiji Water Centennial Oceania and International 7s kicks off at 9 this morning with USA taking on Argentina.
