The position of the Flying Fijians head coach has not attracted some of the top local provincial coaches.

Fijivillage has been reliably informed that Nadroga head coach, Esala Nauga, Suva coach Salimoni Ravouvou and former national coach, Ilivasi Tabua are yet to apply for the job with the closing extension date shifted to next Tuesday.

Nauga is the top local coach after guiding Nadroga to win the Farebrother Sullivan trophy and the Digicel Cup this season but it seems the Stallions mentor will stick with his province for the new season.

Ravouvou took the capital city to the Digicel Cup final and had a close loss in both occasions to Nadroga this year but he is away overseas at the moment.

It has been confirmed that former Fiji 15s captain, Greg Smith has applied for the top job.
