One of the top bets for this year’s blue ribbon event of the Coca Cola Games, Beniamino Maravu said he is facing major difficulties in his preparation for the games.
The Saint Bedes College student told Fijivillage from Savusavu today that he will do his best despite these issues.
Maravu added he is carrying a leg injury and is not at his best like last year.
Meanwhile, financial constraints have stopped Saint Bedes College from sending all their athletes to the Games.
Only 12 athletes which consists of 3 girls and 9 boys will be coming to Suva.
The Coca-Cola Games will be held next Thursday and Friday at the new ANZ stadium.
