Top 7s teams from New Zealand are expected to feature in the Uprising Fiji International 7s next month.
Tournament organizer Randall Kamea said a total of sixteen teams are taking part in the two day tournament with close to three teams coming in from New Zealand.
These clubs include the Ponsonby Rugby Club to which Randall is currently contracted with, along with New Zealand Maori and Manawatu.
Randall added the presence of these overseas clubs will boost the development of rugby in the country.
Meanwhile, today Life Insurance Company of India signed a $15,000 contract to become the official Bank and finance sector sponsor of the tournament.
The Uprising Fiji International 7s will be held on the 21st and 22nd of next month at the TFL Stadium.
