There is still no confirmation from the Fiji Football Association on the number of players who have asked for their release from their districts to join other teams in this year's soccer season.

While the transfer window closed on Saturday, top districts like Ba, Lautoka, Nadi and Suva are likely to include players from other team to boost their campaign.

Suva is confident of securing the services of Labasa rep Apisalome Turuva, Henry Dyer, Azmat Begg, Joseph Nimiriau and Ba's Alvin Singh.

Also, Navua is after Ba's Pita Bolaitoga while Lautoka wants Keni Doidoi and they are also after Simione Tamanisau and Jone Sarolo to help the goal-keeping department.

Soccer giants Ba have been trying to arrange the release of Petero Dauniseka from Suva after they brought in Osea Vakatalesau and Peni Finau from Lautoka.

The 2009 National Soccer League season will kick-off on the 28th of next month.
