FASANOC will be sending one of the best athletics teams for next year's Mini Pacific Games in Cook Islands.
This is after most of the top athletes like Makelesi Bulikiobo, Niko Verekauta and Eugene Vollmer confirmed their participation.
There will also be a number of top secondary schools athletes making up the Team Fiji Athletics team.
Chef De Mission, Patrick Bower said they will try to win the Mini Pacific Games next year after finishing in second place in 2005 in Palau.
Bower is hoping that the athletes that will be selected will give in their best and bring glory to the country.
The Mini Pacific Games will be held next year in August.
