The top 4 teams in the IRB 7s series points standing after the Dubai 7s last weekend will face off as early as the pool stages in the South Africa 7s this weekend.

Fiji and Samoa, who met in the semi final in Dubai, are both in Pool B in South Africa which also has USA who managed to reach the quarter finals, and Namibia.

Current Dubai 7s champions England are in Pool C with New Zealand, the South Africa 7s defending champion and will be joined by Kenya and Russia.

Last year Fiji lost to New Zealand in the final of the South Africa 7s and both sides are tied at 16 points after the Dubai 7s where England currently leads with 24 points followed by Samoa on 20 points.

Fiji will open their South Africa 7s campaign against Namibia on Friday night at 11.43pm.
