A learning centre worth $250,000 opening next week is expected to assist the children of Toki village, Levuka.
The Learning Centre which will be known as David and Jillian Gilmour Learning Centre is being donated by the owner of Wakaya Island and Founder of Fiji Water, David Gilmour.
At a press conference, Gilmour revealed that Levuka was in need of a learning centre which took ten months to complete.
He also hopes to assist other areas in Fiji.
David Gilmour has been investing in Fiji for almost 40 years and is the largest individual investor in Fiji with total investment in access of 225 million Fijian dollars.
