Former Vodafone Fiji 7s player Jiuta Takubu scored a last minute try to help Tokatoka Westfield Dragons beat Fiji Chemicals Vuda 24–17 in their last pool match and be the first to cement its spot in the cup quarterfinals.

Both teams were locked at 17-all two minutes from full time before Takubu sneaked through to score the match winner.

Tokatoka’s other tries came from Waisea Nacuqu, Asaeli Vula and Josaia Wini.

Despite a close win over Fiji Chemicals Vuda, club President Ponijese Lou said that his players are ready to face any team in the cup quarters this afternoon.

So far, other teams that have confirmed their place in the cup quarterfinals include Tabadamu, Wardens Green and Police.

In other matches earlier today Mana Graphix Uluinakau beat Redrock 26-12, Tappoo Ratu Filise thrashed Waibasaga 31-0, Wardens Green beat Davui Suva Stallions 10-7, Police defeated Western Suburbs 24–7 while Wardens Gold lost to Tasbadamu 19-5.
