The Digicel Fiji 7s management will decide today on the replacement for suspended playmaker, Ilai Tinai.
Tinai has been ruled out of the Japan 7s tournament after the spear tackle on a Wales player during the final of the Hong Kong 7s.
Head coach, Alifereti Dere said he will try to work out something in the training runs today.
Dere said he may use someone for the playmaker’s position from the current 11 players.
Meanwhile, Dere said he is telling his players to forget about the victory in Hong Kong and focus on Japan 7s.
Fiji will play all its three pool matches of the Japan 7s on Saturday.
First up is South Africa at 1.44pm before meeting Spain at 5.51pm and Portugal at 9.19pm.
The Cup quarters start at 1.28pm Sunday, Cup semis at 5.08pm and the Cup final is at 7.33pm Sunday.
