A big blow for the Fiji 7s team as playmaker Ilai Tinai has been ruled out of the Scotland and England 7s tournaments.

Head coach Alifereti Dere said he will reveal tomorrow in a press conference why Tinai has opted out of the two tournaments.

Dere is also expected to reveal tomorrow who will be replacing Tinai in such a crucial position.

Tinai is currently in Bua.

The Scotland 7s will be held on the 4th and 5th of May where Fiji is pooled with Australia, Spain and Argentina.
