Team Fiji Womens 7s playmaker, Lavenia Tinai has dedicated her achievements to her family in Wailotua, Cakaudrove.

Tinai who is one of the regulars in Chris Cracknell’s side described her inclusion into the team to the Rio Olympics as a reward of hard work.

The 25-year-old who is a former Fiji Women’s soccer rep said she did not regret taking up rugby which has taken her to places around the world.

Tinai won the Jonah Lomu Top Try Scorer award during the Bayleys Fiji Coral Coast 7s earlier this year.

Fiji Womens 7s team will play USA at 4am next Sunday in their first pool match.

They will then take on Australia at 9.30am on the same day.

Their last pool match is against Colombia at 4am August 8th.
