The Digicel Fiji 7s team had a strong comeback with improved performance in the England 7s where Fiji beat Samoa 26-14 and thrashed NZ 42-19 before losing to South Africa in the Cup final this morning.

Fiji Rugby Union Chairman, Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga said this shows that Fiji can produce the results if the best players are selected in the team.

He hopes the team continues to develop and produce the results for the nation.

However Colonel Tikotoga said people need to realise that Fiji was allowed to send the best team because the British government has not placed any travel bans on the players from the military.
