Vodafone Flying Fijians wing Asaeli Tikoirotuma is highly unlikely to play for Fiji in the upcoming June test series.

Tikoirotuma is a vital member of the Chiefs Super Rugby campaign who are in contention for a playoff berth.

Chiefs coach Dave Rennie will decide whether to release Tikoirotuma.

Vodafone Flying Fijians coach John Mackee earlier stated that he will select the best players available.

McKee said no player is guaranteed a spot in the side and current squad members should perform because there are other players who can take up their spot.

Fiji will play Italy on the 7th of next month at the ANZ Stadium before playing Tonga at Churchill park in the Pacific Nations Cup on the 14th.

They will then take on Samoa at the ANZ Stadium on the 21st before meeting Cook Islands a week later at Churchill park for the World Cup qualifier.
