Fijian born and Chiefs wingers Asaeli Tikoirotuma has found the secret to starting every match for the Chiefs.

Tikoirotuma said the secret is to treat every game to be his last game and perform to his very best.

The 26-year-old Manawatu winger is the most regularly selected back in the team this season, along with first five Aaron Cruden, both having started all eight Super Rugby fixtures to date.

The former Marist Brothers High School student has been injury free in 2013, apart from a minor nerve problem in his knee which he protects with padding during games.

Tikoirotuma has only touched down twice this season.

He scored four in one game alone last year.

The Chiefs will host the Sharks at 7.35pm Saturday.
