The conviction of his younger brother and 2000 coup leader George Speight and some high chiefs for their involvement in the coup has set a good precedence in Fiji that no one is above the law.
Those were the words of ousted SDL Member of Parliament Samisoni Tikoinasau as he gets ready to give his statement to police today on the treason complaint he has filed with others against the Interim Prime Minister, members of the military council and members of the interim cabinet.
He believed that the coup culture can only be resolved through the rule of law.
