The FMF Chow Kaji tournament starts today and one thing the organizers have stressed is that security will be tightened for parents and supports cheering on their teams to be fair and not to jeer the kids while they are playing.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Games Co-ordinator Osea Tuivakano said that a lot of problems have surfaced in the past tournaments, and has asked parents to cheer their teams with caution while those caught jeering will be removed.
Tuivakano added that the number of teams taking part this year has decreased, but that will not dampen the spirit of competition from the districts taking part.
Suva Kaji rugby team is out to defend five of the six titles they won and will be aiming for a clean sweep this year.
The FMF Chow Kaji tournament kicks off at Ratu Cakobau Park this morning and the finals is scheduled for Thursday.
