New Zealand 7s coach Gordon Tietjens will stick with the same set of players for the Hong Kong 7s tournament, that won the Plate final in the Australia 7s last weekend.
Lote Raikabula is still out injured, while speedster Sherwin Stowers failed the fitness test.
Tietjens said despite the two being injured, there is still a lot of confidence in the team.
New Zealand are grouped with France, Scotland and Chinese Taipei.
Meanwhile Samoa 7s wing, Mikaele Pesamino is taking nothing for granted after their win in Australia 7s.
He said although they are favourites to win in Hong Kong, his team will have to work hard to win their third straight title in the IRB World 7s Series after success in Las Vegas and Adelaide.
Samoa will play the opening match of the Hong Kong 7s tomorrow against Italy at 9:30pm.
