New Zealand Sevens Coach Gordon Tietjens is placing his faith on the the 3 Fijian players he has named in his side to win him his second Melrose Cup.
Tietjens who is the most successful coach in the Sevens rugby code believes the likes of Lote Raikabula, Viliame Waqaseduadua and Tomasi Cama Jnr will provide the guidance his side needs to win in Dubai.
Although he last won the highest prize in Sevens rugby 8 years ago, he remained confident his side will repeat that performance this weekend.
Tietjens said teams like Fiji know the importance of winning the World Cup Sevens as it comes around every 4 years.
New Zealand is in Pool A with Tonga, Arabian Gulf and Italy.
The 2009 World Cup Sevens will kick off in Dubai on 1am on Friday with Wales taking on Zimbabwe.
