New Zealand Sevens coach Gordon Tietjens has named three Fijian players in his squad for the fifth Rugby World Cup Sevens tournament.
Tomasi Cama Junior, Lote Raikabula and Viliame Waqaseduadua have been retained while Save Tokula, who played in the Wellington and USA Sevens has been dropped.
Tietjens speaking from New Zealand said he had reasons to drop Tokula while he has pointed out at Waqaseduadua to be one of his key players to win the Melrose Cup.
Tietjens said the 12-man squad he has named today is an experienced side.
The New Zealand team for the World Cup are, Tomasi Cama, DJ Forbes, Paul Grant, Nigel Hunt, Zar Lawrence, Tim Nanai Williams, Lote Raikabula, Ben Souness, Chad Tuoro, Tu Umaga Marshall, Victor Vito and Viliame Waqaseduadua.
New Zealand at the World Cup Sevens has been pooled with Tonga, Arabian Gulf and Italy in pool A.
