A spot in the Tier 1 Deans rugby competition next year is up for grabs for those schools that will be playing in the Tier 2 playoffs this Saturday at the TFL Stadium.
Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Association president Paula Motu said the team which wins in this weekend’s Tier 2 finals will play the last team from the Tier 1 in the promotion relegation next Saturday.
Motu added the three secondary schools from Vanua Levu, All Saints, Savusavu Secondary and Napuka Secondary who will be playing in their respective grades final on Saturday, have a good chance to make it into the Tier 1 grades.
The Tier 2 final from the U-14 grades will start on Saturday at 9am.
The Tier 1 final will be held next Saturday at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
