The FMF Flying Fijian 15's rugby team has earned the respect of Tier One rugby nations after the side lost to South Africa 37 points to 18 this morning.
Springboks coach, Jake White admitted after the match that while they did not show any respect for Fiji prior to the game, it was evident that Fiji had given them a good plat-form to prepare for the semi-final.
Also Fiji coach, Ilivasi Tabua, said that it is time for the IRB to seriously look at the development of rugby in Tier Two rugby nation and also to have Test match with them frequently.
Captain Mosese Rauluni also expressed the same thought believing that Fiji players played with a lot of passion and a love for rugby to give the Springboks a good game in the quarter final.
South Africa will now take on Argentina in the second semi-final after they beat Scotland 19-13 in the last quarter final.
