The entire North Queensland population is sweating on the health of superstar captain Johnathan Thurston after he left the field with a left hamstring complaint early in the second half of the Cowboys 36‑0 win over the Bulldogs last night.
While Thurston was absent for the final 35 minutes of the game, his side never took the foot off the gas.
The first half was underscored by attacking brilliance, but the theme changed to defence as the home side kept the Bulldogs in their own half for the rest of the night.
Meanwhile, the Broncos will take on the Panthers at 9.50 tonight.
