Three Bodies Found in Separate Places
A man's body was found in Fulaga Street, Samabula this morning, a womens body was found in Lomolomo Lautoka and another body was found yesterday evening in Lomanikoro, Rewa.
Media Liaison Officer, Atunaisa Sokomuri has confirmed the body of a woman was found in a sugar cane field in Lomolomo, Lautoka this morning by a group of people.
He said officers are still at the scene.
Sokomuri said the investigations into the body that was found in Fulaga street this morning continues and police are still taking the statements.
Sokomuri said post mortem will be conducted soon which will determine the cause of their death.
Meanwhile, police are yet to identify the body which was found floating in Rewa River, yesterday afternoon.
The body of the middle-aged man was found floating in Rewa River near Lomanikoro yesterday evening.
Divisional Crime Officer Eastern, ASP Ramesh Chand has confirmed the body was found floating by some Lomanikoro villagers who were near the river.
