The National Federation Party is shocked that someone has threatened the Australian High Commissioner to Fiji James Batley.
Party General Secretary Pramod Rae said it is a shameful and gutless thing to do.
Meanwhile, on a different issue, Rae said he does not understand why President Ratu Josefa Iloilo has requested the joint support of the United Nations and the Commonwealth to convene a forum to discuss changes to the current electoral systems be held this month.
Rae said the best way to talk about this system is to convene parliament sitting.
He also said that his party has not received any formal invitation from the interim government to join the forum.
Rae said NFP will have a meeting next month where the issue will be discussed thoroughly.
