More than 20,000 people in Fiji will be switching of non essential lights and using candles in an effort to reduce energy consumption and participating in earth hour tonight.
WWF's Events Coordinator Kim Beddoes said they had targeted 10,000 people for this event however the response from people is overwhelming.
Meanwhile, Rugby wizard Waisale Serevi is calling on all rugby fans to be a part of earth hour tomorrow adding that saving energy is very important for not only Fiji but the whole world.
Earth Hour is at 8.30 tonight.
