The stage is all set for the Legend FM Annual Fiji Street Party with Coke Zero to start.
Tens of thousands of people from all over Fiji and even overseas are expected to converge at the Civic Car Park at the Suva Foreshore for the Legend FM Annual Fiji Street Party with Coke Zero tonight.
The Street Party is one such event in the country that has brought people of all races and age together in unity as they look to welcome the new year in style.
54-year-old Penijueli Vuniwaqa from Nayavu village in Wainibuka will be taking his family to the Legend FM Annual Fiji Street Party tonight.
Vuniwaqa says they are excited as this will be the first time they will attend the street party as a family.
He says they will also be meeting other relatives and they will welcome the new year together.
17-year-old Tyron Knight from Australia who is currently on holiday in Fiji is looking forward to attending the Legend FM Annual Fiji Street Party.
Knight says he is excited about the street party.
Preparations for Fiji's biggest New Year's Party has already started at the Civic Car Park at the Suva Foreshore.
Total Event Manager, Loretta Jackson says the setting up of the stage, speakers, Ferris wheels and other attractions has started this morning.
Jackson also says all bus companies in Suva will be providing extra bus services from 12 midnight to 3am.
She adds the Legend FM Annual Fiji Street Party with Coke Zero is for everyone.
