Thousands of people are expected to gather at Ratu Sukuna Park this afternoon to celebrate the Vodafone Fiji 7s team’s back‑to‑back HSBC World 7s series title win.

A march will take place from the Flea Market to Sukuna Park at 3 this afternoon.

Organiser, Vodafone Fiji said the public will have the opportunity to get autographs and photos taken with the team.

They have also revealed that more prizes would be available for the players apart from the total bonus payment of $75,000 which they are set to receive.

The Vodafone Fiji 7s team is expected to receive $50,000 for winning the HSBC World 7s series.

$15,000 will be paid out to the team for being runners‑up in the Paris 7s and they will receive $10,000 for reaching the Cup semifinal in London.

Fiji retained the 2015/2016 World Sevens Series title with 181 points.
