More than a thousand people from all walks of life gathered to farewell renown VITI FM breakfast show co host Momo or Akuila Verebasaga at Nasinu Cemetery where he was laid to rest this morning.
Communication Fiji Limited Managing Director William Parkison in his eulogy at Momo's final church service said that Momo will be missed by keen Viti FM listeners for his entertaining laugh and he can never be replaced.
Also present at Momo's final rite today was Interim Minister for Public Service Poseci Bune, Iqbal Jannif a former employer and Adi Litia Qionibaravi the former FAB CEO.
Momo died at the age of 61 after a short illness in Levuka last week.
