Thousands of Aucklanders crammed into Victoria Park today for the official celebration of the All Blacks' victory at the Rugby World Cup.

The team arrived back in New Zealand this morning, where about 4000 people greeted them at Auckland Airport.

All Blacks captain, Richie McCaw has been bestowed the honour of freedom by the Auckland Mayor.

This means that Richie McCaw will be able to do anything he wants when he is in Auckland.

Women rushed with their babies at Sonny Bill this afternoon and asked him to give them a cuddle.

Today was also the first time SOLE MIO performed “ I See Fire “ in front of the All Blacks.

10-year-old boy Kuratiwaka Ngarimu gave All Blacks wing Nehe-Milner Skudder a cake today for his fantastic performance at the Rugby World Cup.

He walked up to the stage at Victoria Park and gave Milner-Skudder the cake his mum baked for him.

It was beautifully followed by a hongi exchange between Kuratiwaka and Milner‑Skudder.

A video had gone viral on social media showing the 10-year-old boy promising that he would bake a cake for Milner-Skudder if he helped the All Blacks win the Rugby World Cup.

He then met the entire All Blacks squad and even traveled in the team bus.

It was an even better day for  10-year-old Kuratiwaka Ngarimu as Milner-Skudder gave him the rugby boots he wore in the final against Australia.

This morning, All Blacks captain Richie McCaw was overwhelmed with the number of people waiting to welcome them at the Airport.

Assistant coach Ian Foster says there were a lot of celebrations in the plane.

Fly half Dan Carter says its an honour to see the fans out in numbers.

Each player in the All Blacks team will be receiving $FJD231,502 as their bonus payments for defending the Rugby World Cup title.

The All Blacks are expected to attend 6 more parades in the coming days.

Meanwhile, the Wallabies have arrived home in Sydney and they were welcomed by a fair crowd who seemed less than excited.
