Thousands flock to Showcase
Fijivillage noted last night that many parents had plastic bags of peanut butter, dairy products as well as the various cereals on sale.
When approached this morning, Rewa Dairy, one of the country's major suppliers of dairy products in the country, even revealed that they have had to re-stock nearly three times a day.
Company marketing officer Wainiqolo Veretayaco said that since the Fiji Showcase started last week, many people have turned out in numbers at their booth, as their products are a basic necessity.
Even P.Meghji and Ashabhai Company Limited, who are also wholesale suppliers, has seen a huge turnout at their booth.
Meanwhile, Manasa Toga who came all the way from Sigatoka, had a great time and walked away with an Air Pacific return ticket for a trip overseas.
Toga said he came down to peanut butter and could not believe it when he won the ticket.
The gates to the Fiji Showcase 2010 closes at 10pm.
