The Fiji Visitors Bureau said this is the year to recover the losses made after the happenings of December 2006 by the tourism industry.
Chairman, Patrick Wong said they had recorded a total of 270,856 visitors in Fiji in June this year and although the figures were provisional, it means that the tourism industry in the country is doing good.
However, Wong said there were still thousands of rooms to be filled.
