Third suspect appears in court
Tukana who is a casual laborer at Jittu Estate has been charged with one count of murder, two counts of attempted robbery and one count of damaging property.
The court heard that on the 4th of May Tukana allegedly damaged the windscreen of a vehicle belonging to Krishneel Singh, and that he also attempted to rob Singh=s friends Rajinesh Chand and Ashwin Chand.
No plea was taken, and the case has been transferred to the High court this Friday.
Tukana has been further remanded in custody at the Korovou prison.
Meanwhile, two men have already appeared in the Suva Magistrate court for the alleged murder of Singh and have been remanded in custody.
Their case has been transferred to the Suva High court and the case has been adjourned to the 14th of next month.
Krishneel Singh was allegedly hit several times with a spade and a crow bar last Tuesday evening in Shalimar street which led to his death.
