National 15s coach and Chairman of Selectors for the Digicel Fiji 7s team Ilivasi Tabua said everyone in the country should realize and understand that whatever decision is being made for the 7s team is the best for rugby in the future.
Tabua said there was always a plan to have a team to go to Wellington and San Diego while overseas contracted players are secured for the World Cup 7s in Dubai.
Following confirmation that Police are now providing security to senior executives of the Fiji Rugby Union after a report was lodged that they continue to receive threatening calls and text messages Tabua said people should focus on the bigger picture.
Assistant Spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri had earlier said that police are also closely monitoring the Fiji Rugby Union Head Office, while the houses of the FRU executives are under police surveillance.
