Police are looking for some unknown men who broke into One world Applied Centre in Suva City and walked away with $17,000 worth of cash and assorted items.

Assistant police spokesperson Sergeant Suliano Tevita said the break-in took place over the weekend.

Thieves managed to take $14,000 cash and $3,000 worth of assorted items including laptops and mobile phones.

Meanwhile, police have charged a 36 and a 31 year old man for allegedly raping a 19 year old girl on Saturday afternoon in Walu Bay.

The two are alleged to have raped the girl during a drinking party.

The girl remains admitted in the Suva Hospital.

The two are expected to appear in the Suva Magistrate’s Court later today.
