Police in the Western Division are on alert after thieves broke into a house in Yaloku, Navosa last night and stole $3000 cash and a 12 gauge shot gun.
The owner was not at home when the men entered the house and stole the rifle and cash.
Police have warned members of the public that the stolen rifle may be used for unlawful purposes.
Police are also following up some leads.
