A robbery at Courts Homecentres over the weekend and various other crimes in the country has prompted Chief Operating Officer of Courts Homecentres and Crime Stoppers Chairman, James Datta to call on the public for help in reducing crime in Fiji.
Datta confirms that the thieves entered their outlet in Suva through the roof of the building and cut the phone lines and the alarm systems before they stole 231 Mobiles, $7568 dollars in cash and other items collectively worth $62,500 were stolen over the weekend from the Courts Homecentres Phone Shop.
Datta added that the Crime Stoppers as well as the Courts Homecentres would reward people who came forward with the recovery of these items. He confirmed that Police are continuing with investigations.
