Police are looking for unknown people who broke into the Shree Sanatan Dharam temple at Delainavesi.
Assistant Spokesperson, Corporal Suliano Tevita has confirmed that the thieves broke the front door and gained entry into the temple.
According to police thieves were looking for the money however no cash was left inside the temple.
Police have warned the members of the public that Sacrilege is a serious crime and those arrested for breaking into temples and churches will be dealt with.
