A psychologist has today revealed that those people who are raping their own daughters or sisters may have been sexually abused while they were young.
Doctor Selina Kuruleca said while a research gives a number of reasons for people raping their own sisters or daughters, it has been established that a large number of people are committing these offences because they were sexually abused before.
The phsychologist has also indicated that substance abuse can also be a major factor.
She said those people who are found doing so should be helped.
