Ousted Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase said those individuals who financed the SDL party have not received anything in return when the SDL was in power.
Although Qarase has not revealed the names of the people who financed the party since 2001, he said it is only proper to say that the Duavata Initiative in the investment arm of the SDL and they have done nothing illegal since its inception.
However Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama maintains that Qarase should reveal publicly the names of the individuals and companies who assisted the SDL party financially through the Duavata Initiative.
Bainimarama said it should be left to the people to decide on whether these individuals gained something in any way after giving money to the SDL's Duavata Initiative.
