There is no reason why elections should be deferred or delayed any further.
These are the words of Nationalist Vanua Tako Lavo Party leader Iliesa Duvuloco after a meeting held today with Interlocutors Dr Robin Nair and Dr Sitiveni Halapua at the Holiday Inn.
Duvuloco said their party has and will always maintain the fact that the only way forward for the country is through elections where people can have their say on who should be their leader.
The Interlocutors also held a meeting with the Fiji Labour Party Leader Mahendra Chaudhry, however he refused to make any comments on what was discussed during the meeting.
Interlocutor Robin Nair said they hope to complete a preliminary report on their meetings with political parties by the end of this week.
