The wait is finally over as this evening the return of what many fans live for, it is time for Super Rugby.

And off the block are the two champion NZ franchises the Blues hosting last year’s losing finalist Crusaders at home.

On average when these teams meet the Blues score 23 points and the Crusaders score 24 points so there is little between the teams.

However at Eden Park the Blues have won 60% of their matches against the Crusaders and on average score the same 23 points but the Crusaders score a little less at 21.

Current form is very difficult to comment on going into the opening round as the warm up matches are difficult to read into, but the Blues went through their three matches unbeaten.

The Blues have only won one match in their last seven against the Reds and Blacks.

The Blues and Crusaders match kicks off 6.35 tonight.

At 8.40pm Brumbies will take on Western Force.

Meanwhile, at 5.10 tomorrow morning, Bulls will play Sharks in Pretoria.
