Assistant Minister for Education Vijay Nath said he is optimistic that text books will be provided to all primary and secondary schools by the end of next month.

Nath said a Ministry of Education team is working overtime to ensure that the text books are provided to schools.

He said the team is currently printing and compiling the text books.

When asked how much will it cost the Ministry to print and supply the materials to all students of primary and secondary schools around the country, Nath says they cannot give a figure as they are still compiling the text books.

Fijivillage also questioned the Assistant Minister for Education on some schools not able to provide hard copies of the text books as they claim that their printer has run out of ink.

Nath said if the schools are facing any problems they should contact the Ministry of Education.
