The distribution of free textbooks for all students is making good progress, as all Primary schools in Kadavu and Rotuma have received theirs.
Minister Filipe Bole said to date all 29 Primary Schools in Kadavu have been issued with books as well as schools in Rotuma, confirming textbooks for Doi District, Onolevu, Fulaga, Matuatabu and Namuka District School will be delivered by the MV Iloilovatu which left last night to Lau.
Bole added that all primary school should be enjoying this assistance by 2011, while secondary schools should be enjoying the free textbook assistance beginning in 2012.
He said the whole exercise is geared towards the direction of providing free education for all students.
