The Flying Fijians 15s rugby team's hope of a Test match against former World champions England on November 7th is now cancelled because of the Fiji Rugby Union's poor financial position.

They will now be replaced by the Wallabies who will embark on a grand slam tour for the first time in 25 years.

The Wallabies simultaneously confirmed they would embark on an end of year grand slam tour of Britain and Ireland for the first time since 1984.

A "significant" portion of the estimated $21 million surplus from the Wallabies and England Test match will be funneled directly into Fijian rugby, which recorded a financial loss last year of more than $600,000.

Fiji will play Tests against Ireland and Scotland, with a game against the US on November 28th replacing the England Test.

Australia has confirmed it will host Fiji on June 5th, 2010 a week before England begins their two Test series.
