Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said some terrible decisions were made by the Fiji National Provident Fund between the 1980s and the early 2000 decade.

While speaking on Public Sector Reform at the Certified Practising Accountants Australia and Fiji branch Congress at the Sheraton Sayed-Khaiyum said as the proposed FNPF reforms are being looked at people should realize that the earlier decisions of the Fund were made by government, employer and employee representatives.

He said it is now imperative that the people with the right knowledge and skills are appointed to such positions to ensure that right and well informed decisions are made.
